Occupational therapy in adulthood
Occupational therapy treats people with congenital or acquired limitations, regardless of age. Please trust us: it is never too late to treat a limitation or train lost skills.
Some limitations arise from misfortunes such as accidents or illness, while others develop over the course of a lifetime. In either case, the goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence in everyday life.
Practice, practice, practice...
It is particularly difficult to change movement patterns in old age. That is precisely why regular training is so important. Together with you, we develop exercises that promote movement, coordination, and perception.
Our focus areas:
- Training movement sequences for everyday life
- Improving sensory perception (sensory integration)
- Promotion of cognitive abilities such as attention, concentration, retention, and memory
- Advice and adaptation of aids for home or workplace
- Involvement and training of relatives
